ST.THOMAS INSTITUTE FOR SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY, PROMOTED BY THE MAR THOMA CHURCH EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY
St. Thomas Institute for Science & Technology (STIST) was established on 2010 by Mar Thoma Church Educational Society, Trivandrum, who are the pioneering educators with an excellent track record of more than 50 years. Our patron is Most Rev. Dr. Joseph Mar Thoma Metropolitan and the president is Rt. Rev. Joseph Mar Barnabas Episcopa, the Bishop of Thiruvananthapuram - Kollam diocese of Mar Thoma church. The Society runs reputed educational institutions in Trivandrum including St. Thomas Residential School (ICSE), St. Thomas Central School (CBSE), St. Thomas Higher Secondary School (State Syllabus), St. Thomas Public School and a Teachers’ training college.
The college situated in 20 acres of land, approved by AICTE, Govt. of Kerala and affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, is committed to generate, disseminate, preserve knowledge and bring this knowledge to bear upon challenges we face. The thrust is to bring a strong centre of excellence with the state of art of facilities for education and research.
