The Department of Mechanical Engineering is Committed to fostering a stimulating intellectual environment in which both faculty and students excel in teaching and learning. The objective is execution of all the routine activities as per three fundamental principles of human knowledge: Lead me from Darkness to Light "Tamaso Ma Jyotirgamaya": Lead me from falsehood to Truth and "Asatoma Sadgamaya": Lead me from Mortality to Immortality.

Mechanical Engineering happens to be the backbone of any industry with amazing versatility. Our department was established in 2010  and  strives to train students in mechanical engineering science as well as application of these scientific methods to conceive, organize and carry out scientific design of engineering systems. The department has well-equipped labs to impart sound practical knowledge of the subject. This department has dedicated and competent faculty members to impart quality education, project guidance, personality development to enable them to be placed with reputed organizations.
